How does the rear seat squab come out cos i cant shift it (Twindoor hatch)

Has anyone got part numbers for the boot luggage locker doors? and could i retro fit a pair into my estate?

TIA

The protectors are stuck on with double sided foam tape.

Yes the car can be driven... BUT the airbag light will illuminate due to it being disconnected, which will require VCDS or a dealer to turn the light off when the radio is refitted.

The seat base isn’t designed to come out, it is clipped in place, pull up at the front edge just inside the sills and then push the side in near the rear of he door opening.

No part numbers but they are an easy retrofit.

ref the SRS light, if i put in a temporary borrowed swing unit would the light come on and stay on?

No, providing the ignition is not turned on whilst the radio is removed it will be fine.

You may lose some functions due to incorrect coding though, but no big deal of it’s for just a few days.

Grasp rear seat either side from underneath and sharply pull - to release the securing hoop (1 each side). Rear seat base can be carefully removed.

I've done this a couple of times - be careful though as the seat base isn't "stable" and can be damaged

Taking the base out is a bit odd the first time you do it. Requires more force than you think.

It's a pain to store as well as it's so large and a single piece.
