Fold Front Seat?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, picked up my Citigo 3dr on Friday and I'm having great difficulty folding the front seat to let people in the back. I'm probably being massive moron but when I push the tilt lever, fold the seat then slide it forward it's ok, but then when I push the lever again and slide the seat back it slides all the way back and goes bolt upright. So every time I get in I have to slide the seat forward and adjust the tilt to my driving position. Is it supposed to be like this or am I just being stupid?

Cheers

To me, it sounds about right, although with more control you should be able to stop it where you want it.

It's just something you get used to over time really.

Ah ok, cheers. It's my first 3 door and I've clearly been spoiled by the Mrs' Audi A1! I'll just make everyone get in on the passenger side!

It's the way they are, used to annoy the hell out of me on my old C30! It's the major reason I went for a 5 door Citigo tbh!

Yes, somewhat strange that many German manufacturers will happily charge you an extra £300 for heated front seats on a £30K+ car, Skoda chuck them in for free on a £10K Citigo Elegance or SEL but can't run to a simple seat memory mechanism on a 3 door model.

Yeah you'll get used to them in a short spell of time. Took us a few days of use when we first got ours but even our little lad (7 years old) manages to open the door, pull the seat forward, get in, then put the front seat back in the proper position in front of him when he gets in the car. And the opposite when he needs to get out.
