Bluetooth OBD

What is the best Bluetooth OBD device and App that is compatible with iPhone ?

Can't recommend what Bluetooth device, but I was recommended to use Carista app if I did use a BT device

I might be wrong but i think Carista does'nt work on a mk1.

Im also pretty sure any bluetooth or wireless dongle will be fine (i use a wireless dongle which cost about £7 on amazon)

Depends what you are after. If you can get it, then Torque PRO is pretty good for a Mk1. Currently using it to log journeys to get to the bottom of a supposed coolant sensor issue, really good tool for OBD functions and sensor readings.

Torque is an Android app right?
I use Dashcommand for iPhone. Works well with other vehicles (only one I have found that works) but it doesn't work for my Octavia from 1999. Does it not have OBD2? It has the connector under the steering column

Yes - which is why I put "if you can get it", lol. iPhone is inherently weak in the are of this kind of software from the looks of things, probably due to the licensing that Apple charge. It's probably better to buy a cheap second hand android phone/tablet and install Torque on that, more choice on what you can get then.
