I'd to use a pair of needle nosed pliers ro remove the  number 40 fuse. Should there be a fuse removal tool mounted somewhere ? My Mk2 FL had one mounted in the fusebox IIRC.

The need to remove the glove box on the Mk3 is a backward step and how can anyone reasonably re-attach that damper in real time?

The wheel nut cap removal tool can be used, but I agree the placement of the fuse box is crazy on RHD cars. The glovebox damper is a pain for sure.
