Following my complaint the rear discs have been replaced under warranty.

According to the dealer the callipers and guide pins have been cleaned.

Time will tell.......

The car is under six months old and under 6,500 mils.

The dealer reluctantly  did the work.

I had already opened a case with SkodaUK.

Well.... Dealer was supposed to be looking into this for me.... Mailed a reminder a few weeks ago and had no reply. Silence is probably the only reply I need ....

 

How do the rears look 1 month on Phil ?

 

Interesting mine look a lot better now with a full clean surface without doing much..

 

One thing i noticed though is the rear pads dont have a square edge, its like its tapered which wont help deflecting dirt that gets in.

2k miles on these new ones Nick and they are holding up well and not grinding like the originals.
