Looking to get new car detailed as soon as it arrives. Was going to go for self healing film chip protection at the front and then CS Black and Exo over the whole car as I intend to keep it for a long time. I have spoken to a couple of GTechniq detailers and some say put CS Black over film, some say don't. Anyone know what is correct? or had this done, one way or the other?

Quotes for film seem to vary massively and some want money to prepare for film and money again to prepare car for CS/Exo, even if it is done at exactly the same time.

Gtechniq cost is on their site £880 so pretty standard.

SunTek film (which most dealers seem to be recommending) costs seem to vary hugely, over £1200, difference between quotes. And time for whole job varies between 3-4 days and 10 days.

My last car was coated with Lifeshine by the dealer and they didn't do much (if any prep) before applying it, so this time I want to do it correctly.
