I have fitted an aftermarket Stereo and Sat nav everything works fine except the drivers door central locking, all the other doors and boot work fine. Has anyone any ideas.

Probably an unrelated issue.

more than likely a broken wire in the drivers door loom.

Thanks for that thought it was a bit strange it only affected drivers door will look into that

Mine's got a canbus interface and the display shows the wrong front door open but all others are correct - I can live with that.  I've recently noticed an error come up which I'm going to explore with VCDS, but suspect it may be related to the aftermarket HU.
