Overhead Glasses Compartment

Featured Replies

Info is mixed.

Does the new Superb Estate still have an overhead glasses compartment?

Some people are saying it doesn't, but is that only if you have the sunroof?

I can confirm it does not if you have a sunroof - MKII did but for some reason MKIII has not.

the glasser case comes as standard with NO sunroof.

With Sunroof the item is excluded.

This is also the same on the Rapid Spaceback too..

Thanks. I will make far more use of a glasses compartment than a sunroof, and its free!! Take the felt cloth out of my current one and shouldn't get any rattles either.

At least the sunglasses compartment in the Superb III is big enough to fit sunglasses into. unless they fold almost completely flat they don't fit in the Superb II compartment. Based on other posts here the compartment isn't padded, so if you develop what sounds like a passenger door rattle it may well be your sunglasses.
