If you don't have maxidot you need the 5K0 or 7P6 module, they work fine and the latter ones should support Bluetooth audio streaming - fitted one to my sisters Octavia without Maxidot without any issues. You MUST have maxidot if you want to use the Premium modules 3C8 or 5N0.

should that kit work on my fabia (no maxidot) ?

I had a swing unit with no Bluetooth so replaced it with a sat nav Amundsen + off eBay.. Bluetooth built in.. just had to buy a mic and fit it and the gps receiver under the headlining up near the interior light..got it coded in and it works perfectly and all factory fit

What's difference between premium module and not? I do have maxidot

The Standard Modules only offer hfp (Hands Free Protocol - e.g. iPhones), whereas the Premium Module also offer rsap (e.g most Samsung not sure what others tbh), which uses your phone as a 'SIM host' and the car controls the signal, text messages, etc. Gives a much stronger phone signal as it uses it's own aerial rather than relying on the phone - either a stick on one to attached to the roof under the roof lining, or you can upgrade the radio aerial on the roof to include the phone rsap aerial connector (and even sat nav gps).

Any joy mate realise your busy just waiting so can order one

I had a look at the unit in the roof but it was actually an alarm unit and just the speakers/mic but no Bluetooth?

Ive removed the Radio but nothing behind that when I swapped to the RNS510.

I've heard people say they are located under the drivers seat but didn't see one when I removed the seat??

What about under passenger seat if it's not under there not a clue

Nothing attached to any of the seats, I'll check under the carpet tomorrow if I can.

Yes could well be under carpet either driver side or passenger side I look forward to hearing from you

I went for a pure dab+ linked to my swing in my Fabia

The bluetooth module would be in a polystyrene tub under the passenger seat. (not under carpet) Might be easier to just get a RNS315 with bluetooth inbuilt?

Pretty sure mine isn't under the seat! tomorrow... tomorrow I'll check!

I seen a module under the carpet built into the floor under the drivers seat but didn't get any numbers, I'm sure that's it.
