Hi, 

 

I currently own a fabia 6y5 1.2 htp for around 1,5 years but lately when going over bumps/ speedbumbs I hear like a sound you'd associate with like the spring sounds of like slats from a bed if you know what I mean. Car isn't lowered running stock 14'ers and I have around 97K kms what could be the thing making the noise I'm thinking it's the springs or the stabilizer?

 

Sorry if it's even a common problem but I just wanna hear what you guys think, thanks in advance -Tom

I've held back from posting a reply, but as no one else has replied, I'll suggest that you check the ARB mounting bushes, or if this car is an early model, maybe before 2003/2004, you should check to make sure that the plastic end stop(s) have not broken free on the anti roll bar (ARB).  Try grabbing the ARB and see if you can move it side to side, if you can, then you have found your problem.
