Back to Skoda..not a great start

Featured Replies

So, got my partner a brand new Fabia 1.2 90 monte carlo in white, when filling car noticed a scratch by rear area/quarter panel, car went back to dealer, scratch repaired, but over spray & poor colour match, car goes back week later, repaired again, only this time, paint is pitted, very flat and has a matt appearance, also major scratches on quarter panel.

Car now going to bodyshop, so not a great start, if its not sorted this time, rejecting car as under 30 days old, other than that car is brilliant, loving to panaramic roof, insurance is very cheap !!.

Will keep you all posted.

The rejection route is there to protect us, I dont want to be negative but Id be amazed if you could get a rejection based on a paint scratch to stick.

Trouble with a new car is hard to swallow, our monte had a cracked panoramic roof at 2 weeks old. Ir certainly takes the shine off.

I hope you get sorted ;)

So 3rd attempt at repairing scratch, car back from bodyshop and overspray on black window trim FFS, waiting for a call from General manager, seriously not happy.

you would really think after this many problems they'd make sure they did a good job
