Thinkware F770 or Blackvue DR605s dashcam?

Featured Replies

Hi, I am torn between these 2 dashcams to fit in my new Superb when it arrives. They are both highly rated but some people dont like the rear camera on the Blackvue because it is only 720p resolution. There is a difference of about £50 fitted between the 2 at the moment and will be wanting both front and rear.

Can someone help me make up my mind which to order?

if you have dab the blackvue will mess up the reception and it will go dead if you don't have a fm alternative channel. it is all to do with the rear cam the shielding is bad on it i even tried suppression  rings and it would not improve it if you unplug the rear cam the dab works so that confermed my thery.

by the way my car was a superb11. i finally gave it to my daughter who only has fm - am and got a QVIV AR790 2ch from policewhitness and had no probs after a trial run with wiring so just waiting for my superb111 to come now.

QVIA AR790 2CH in mine now and works perfectly

What about thinkware, I have heard the f770 can have dab problems too. It depends where you run the cable.
