Windows mystery

Featured Replies

Went to start the car and found all the windows were fully down! The car had been locked as normal but a good job it hadn't rained during the night! Anyone have similar experience of this?

yes - but put it down to putting my keys in my back pocket and sitting on them

It's called comfort closing and it is anoying! With my last car i ended up with windows open in the rain a few times :(

Fortunately on the Octavia at xan be disabled from the infotainment unit easily enough.

Global opening/closing.

Best to disable it in the locking section in the infotainment.

How do you open all windows with keys?

Key the open button on the key remote pressed down

And close any windows accidentally left open after you got out the car by holding the lock button down on remote until they close

That's what SWMBO is for when it's raining. You don't let her know that your fob will reach that far.

I use this to open my windows from my office on hot days, and so I can throw things on the back seat when I arrive. Its great!!
