Some tracks don't play

Featured Replies

Hi,

Having an issue with some albums on my memory card when plugged into the Bolero that's confusing me a bit.

Some albums play fine, album art present, all good. But when I've added some albums, they have a file error, have a red slash through them and they don't play.

Checking the files, they are mp3, and other mp3s work fine. I've trimmed the file name's right down in case it was that but it just seems pretty random as which ones play and which don't.

Anyone found this or found a solution?

Not come across it

I have 4000 + tracks and they all seem to play

That's even more annoying now knowing it can work seamlessly, wonder what's causing my issues. Did you rip all the tracks yourself, or download them?

Mixture of both

Some a vbr some a vbr but they all play

Do they play on the pc ?? Or another device

If they do try burning them as an audio disc and re-rip them like any other cd and try again

Have you loaded them tracks you know of plus one that plays into mp3tag and looked at all the hastags etc

Yeah all the ones that don't play, do play through my laptop, so the files are ok.

One of the suspect albums that doesn't play, I ripped from cd using itunes, but another album I ripped from a cd also from itunes with same settings does play!

It's all very confusing.

I haven't run them through mp3tag to check them, I'll get one that now though. Cheers.
