Help leaking radiator or seal ..

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to remove the front bumper of an mk2 Vrs . Ive noticed coolant levels dropping and saw leaks on the engine floorcover plate .

Anyone knows if it would be a radiator leak or a seal leaking ...

Thanks

I've read somewhere I think it's lucifers fundamental 1.4 twincharger design flaw that the radiators fail after around 2 years because they are made of cheap plastic he said something about a upgraded one available for around 50-100 pounds

He was talking SEAT but the same difference.

1,800 CAVE Fabia in the UK from 2010-2012 and another 1,100 plus 2012 on without many radiators failing, or reported as so.

Why just because no one has posted about it ? Like you said you own one car not the whole fleet of twinchargers

Thomas he posted in  2014 about radiators that need replacing after 3 years, the SEAT Twinchargers were introduced in 2009,

the Fabia in 2010, there are people here with 7,6,5 & 4 year old ones, and plenty post on every other issue so maybe ask James on the radiator failures,

or any other Tech you know or any one in the parts department, there is no common issue, but there are failures.

None of it is rocket science.

PS

I never said i own or owned one car, i said you did, and you had it no time before the engine was replaced.

Want to guess how many Twinchargers i have had?

I don't care how many you've had , every post that someone puts all you ever do is babble on about service recalls , oil consumption and your personal vendetta with skoda and Volkswagen it's so annoying people want help not your bitterness towards skoda/vw

Thomas just trying to get help and replacement engines for people and i have managed that, so you just keep doing your thing, giving duff gen and reading the

stuff you do and putting bits on your car or paying people to.

If you have any advice that helps people that get blown off by Skoda maybe come up with it.
