Hello fellow Skoda enthusiasts! after many years of being a true southerner and only owning fords (still got me boy mk2 escort though  ) but recently decided that I may need some good old German/Czech! reliability, and power! Octavia vrs it shall be! mwahaha! after spending months of wasting salesman's time and enquiring to my hearts content even nearly went Scotland for the right one, but time paid off and I was fortunate enough to find an 09 vrs with 54k on the clock, full service history, garaged all its life, the old boy who owned it didn't do the mileage good old dpf doing its job got the better of him, so he went petrol (cheers bud!) but just wanted to say hey, seems like a good bunch on this forum and already very very useful information, easy to navigate too.
