Is it possible to have HBA on vehicles without the Lane Assist camera? I have light sensor, but not sure if that is enough to enable HBA. The only threads I can find on enabling it seem to give directions for cars with Lane Assist only.

Yes you can

You can't enable it if you don't have lane assist.

Yep, it's possible to have HBA without lane assist but that system also uses a (simpler) camera. I have this system from the factory. Not a clever one!

So 1 for yes and 1 for no :-)

 

To be more specific, you can have HBA on a car without lane assist but, as previously stated, you can't enable HBA without a camera, traffic sign recognition is the same too
