Hi everyone!

I want to share with you my "rapid experience". It s over 2 years now and I m very very pleased overall.

This is how my rapid used to look like. Except the roof. It came as raceblue, but I wrapped it into black glossy  it was the first thing I did right after purchase.

 

I didn t like the height of suspension. I mean it s ridiculous, isn t it so? and the car was quite unstable over 75mph especially with smaller r15 tires(during the winter season).

Front spoiler / black magic, by Milotec

Front grid ornamental strip / black magic, by Skoda

R17 savio / plasti dipped into standard black, by me

Rear diffuser / black magic, by Skoda

Rear boot strip / black magic, by Skoda

Replaced stock suspension, using ST lowering susp. -30/30mm

Replaced front shock absorbers, using 2015 Seat Ibiza TDI FR

Replaced rear shock absorbers, using 1st gen. Octavia RS

 

 

I m quite happy with the looks now I just can t decide what kind of side sills should I buy. 

Also the car handles way better. It feels like a sporty-comfort car. I m actually suprised because I thought that I ll loose comfort.

Fuel economy is great as always. No problems with the engine or whatsoever.

 

Saw the new facelifted Rapid pics. I m not really impressed by LED headlights and some minor changes. So I guess I ll use this car for at least another good 2-3 year.

 

My only problem with the car is the noise comming from the front windows. It s a little bit noisy for my taste. I was thinking about deflectors maybe?

I never had any installed on a car so I m not sure if they would actually help.

Oh and the handbrakes. It is in a state like a 15 year old car. I m worried about it. Anyone else having the same issue? Any mods to prevent damage?

If the Rapid VRS existed, it would look just like your car.
