Fabia oil recommendation

Featured Replies

Can anyone sugest what type oil i should use for my fabia's oil change?

The manual just says spec' 500 00 or 502 00.

I think the 500 00 is a 10w 40, and the 502 00 is a 0w 30, witch one is best for my 2001 MPi fabia with 47,000 on the clock?

I'd use the stuff that they use in the garage, I bought some Quantum stuff this morning from my Skoda dealer :)

10w 40 is fine.

Grab the silver Quantum semi synth from you local dealer, its pretty cheap and really good.

which oil is best for the vrs? is 0w40 the best? or is something cheaper a better choice?

There's a thread at the top of the Fabia page that should help you on this.

many thanks

The Quantum oil range is excellent. I know who makes it, (obviously VW/Audi group don't), I know what the various oils are re-brands of and I even know the guy who designed the 5 Ltr pack/labels/colour schemes, (but I'm too modest to tell you who - but he drives a vRS).

Damned fine range of lubricants.
