Zenith wheels

Featured Replies

Can someone post a few real life pics of cars with zenith wheels? I am ordering a sportline superb in black, but in my country vega alloys are optional and they are quite expensive (750 euro),instead standard wheel for sportline is zenith in graphite colour. I am not sure if 18 is small for superb, but in the dealership they had car at exactly same spec as i want (black, zenith wheels) and it looked really good, but i haven't seen vega alloys in person, but in the pictures they look breathtaking. Zenith seem somewhat small in pictures (they look smaller than lets say pegasus). And to take into consideration that i drive in the city where there are A LOT of potholes and roads are far from perfect. Also, car has sport chassis,so would 19 be overkill?

This one looks sweet . Zenith tend to look small on pictures, not so on this one. Is sidewall to thick on 18"?

Personal preference but I think the Zeniths fit the arches nicely, don't look small at all, and provide a good mix between comfort and looks. I'm biased but if I was choosing new wheels today I'd still pick the Zeniths. I quite like the design of thin and thick spokes together.

To be honest the dull weather and pics don't do them justice, they look even better in bright sunlight.

Personally, the S3 takes 19" well, not overkill. I don't have DCC / Sport chassis and find the ride is OK on UK roads:

The 19" looks great Coops, they remind me of the Audi alloys that they used to fit to TT's. Like you say, the ride on the standard suspension is compliant enough to be forgiving on UK roads anyway, so I doubt that 19's will spoil anything.

Problem with me is that UK roads are far better than in my country, the bigger one is i am getting a sportline,so it is 15 mm lower and much firmer. On top of that vega 19s are 800 pound extra, and that is too much in my opinion (it is just 1" difference). Standard sportline wheel is black zenith 18(so i wanted to see couple of pics to know will it look any good). Those 19s on your pic are my favourite superb 3 alloys, but they aren't available with sportline, maybe i get them aftermarket and paint them black  (if i don't like the look of zenith).

We are on Russia level, beat that :D. And my driving is mostly city, and i think that 19 is more vounerable to potholes. So this topic is not so much should i go for 19,but to make sure 18 are good enough.

It does come down to personal preference, but at the end of the day I don't think anyone will look at a set of 18" wheels on the Superb and say 'wow, they look small". I think the Zenith's would look cool in black on a Sportline - I've never seen this setup.

Totally agree.

If the roads are poorer than UK and it's an extra cost, then the 18s are the way to go.

19" on s3 .I find them ok on Irish Roads .

Pics definetly don't do justice to zenith. I went do the dealership yesterday to see sportline they have (which looks exactly like mine, but has less powerful engine,no dsg and no 4x4). Black zenith wheels on that car look really good(much better than on ordinary superb because black sportline is all black, except badge and difusor). On pics zenith looks a bit small (or is it me,but pegasus looks bigger on pics) but it definetly is not small for superb,it doesn't have the wow factor of vega, but it really looks nice in my opinion and they suit the sportline nicely.

Maybe i will get 19s(i can get another set of rimms for less then the price of VEGA) when i will be changing first set of tyres and leave zenith for winter. I will be posting images of the car when it arrives,it looks really stelthy when all black (that is a plus for zenith,no shiny bits).
