I have the VIN for a Yeti I'm considering. I know it is 2012 Model but is it possible to ascertain the month it was built from the VIN.

If you look at components under the bonet some will be dated somewhere.

On my first Yeti i didnt see any dates more than about 6 weeks before delivery, so about 4 weeks max before car was assembled.

If you enter the model and VIN into the MySkoda android app it will tell you exactly. My Rapid has a production date of 02/03/17
