I'm with RickTT here .. The VIN plate is specific to your vehicle, hence the chassis number, and can never be changed. The towing max limit should also be detailed in Section 4 of the V5C reg doc under section 0.

Agreed, if it says 0 for towing then you can't tow anything. Ever.

Let me get this right, Skoda have launched their biggest 4x4 model to date... and didn't type approve it for towing in time!?
