Hi guys, is possible to via coding turn off the signal (beep) which mean that the outside temperature is under 4.5 Celsia?

I think its quite a useful feature that could potentially save you at some point (regarding icy roads).

 

The only annoyance is the it keeps beeping as the temperature goes half a degree up or down and comes back to 4°C again. It should be disabled from beeping the same message for 30 minutes or so.

Mine is not annoying as it stands. I only ever have noticed one, useful, beep on my winter journeys and have never had repeated beeps. Maybe the UK temperatures don't vary much in winter.

Maybe the OP can explain his concerns?

Not sure if this is the same for the OP.

 

Mine has beeped at me 3 time's this morning on my way to work, over a 40 mile journey. I was aware after the first beep, i don't think it necessary to continue during the same journey, as the temperature can fluctuate around 4 to 5 degrees.

You only have to look at the OP's headgear in his avatar, it gets b****y cold in central Europe.

It probably drives them crazy during a long cold spell.
