We have electric memory seats and although we have 2 car keys we only ever use one as it's attached to the house keys etc. 

 

It seems that the car has associated the memory setting of this key to my wife's seat position such that if I get out at the school or petrol station, lock up and come back a few mins later it always returns to her position. 

 

How do I delete any seat position association so it just leaves the seat alone?

 

I've got an L&K with a columbus head unit

One way is to turn off 'personalisation' in settings. That's what I did with mine. 

Not sure but seems like you have set the function:

 

"Every time the vehicle is locked, the driver ́s seat and exterior mirror settings are saved and assigned to the key with which the vehicle was locked. 

After the following unlocking of the vehicle with the same key and opening the driver’s door, the driver ́s seat and exterior mirrors that are saved to this key will be adopted.

This function can be in the Infotainment menu  →  → Mirrors and wipers activated / deactivated. "

 

Perhaps ensure this is turned off and then just use the seat memory buttons

Do you have a Superb III or II as your profile says?  And if its a series III, what model year?  The personalisation functions vary from MY16-MY17.  I have an MY17 and I'm pretty certain there is a setting through the infotainment to 'update settings to key' which you can turn on/off.  My car came with 3 keys though which i believe is related to the personalisation options.  If yours only came with 2, you might find your options are different.

hahaha.... only got it last week, changed the profile pic, forgot to change the car.

 

it's a 3 key L&K, not 2 keys.
