My Fabia mkll Monte Carlo Black Edition Estate DOG car.

Featured Replies

I picked up my car 2 weeks ago now and I love it.

Black in colour one owner with 22000 miles on it. 1.2 TSI.

Things done so far:

Carista dash mods.

sunglass holder.

Philips 150% headlamp bulbs.

led dlr bulbs.

Boot mat.

Genuine Dog guard coming this week via ebay seller.

Brand new set of alloys delivered today as mine had some curb scrapes.

Just deciding if to put 4 brand new tyres on or not ?

Full detail done yesterday by myself to bring the paint back upto scratch.

Planned extra's

Auto lights ?

7" stereo upgrade ?

Pics to follow.

Anyone know what the Gigaro alloys would be worth ?

with and without tyres.

Around £300 for a set of Gigaros, then up and down depending on damage, tyres etc.

Ok so its time to purchase a full set of tyres for my new wheels.

Recommendations please.

I've done about 1500km on Bridgestone Potenza RE003's and highly recommend them. I did my favourite "back roads" course on slightly wet roads with no brown trousers moments recently, and find the traction control (when on) not flashing as much as I am accustomed to.

As we live in the UK I recommend Uniroyal Rainsports :) Great in wet and damp conditions.

Soft in really hot conditions, had them fitted for over a year now and love them. Just swapped Fronts with the Back ones to get more life out of them, I reckon i can still use them until the end of this year.

Busy day today, dog cage full fitted as i was waiting for the tool to insert the rivserts that hold the side bars.

You have to drill a hole in the side trim and insert the rivot.
