I am new here and find this forum absolute super.

My Fabia RS is on order since week 40, my Dealer said it will be here in week 50. Thats 1 week before Christmas!! Went back yesterday to see if he got any new information but no, he still said week 50. Can i trust him? What is your expierience with the

I bought the one in the showroom so I dont know the ETA on delivery.

But it all depends when it comes in on the boat.

The length of time you feel you've been waiting is in direct correlation to how excited you are ie the fabric of time itself seems to shift so you never feel any closer to the delivery date

I wouldn't worry too much. Any dealer will do his best to avoid having an irate carless customer ranting at him about broken promises.

I couldnt wait for mine so kept calling in dealers

to see if there was any spare ones

was going to have a black one but my salesman was off for 2 days :confused: it was sold when he came back doh!!!

but i got a fantastic deal on a silver 1 which was sold wen i first called in but the guy wanted to change from silver to the black 1

hence me having a silver furby vrs:D

My Fabia came spot on time and the regular phone calls the dealer gave me throught the wait reassured me. Build week was 48 and delivery week was 51 (the same as yourself) but I waited till the new year to pick it up and register it since that allows me to say the car is a 2002 model....
