Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if the 2017 octavia se has any audio controls at all on the steering wheel please? All the brochures and pictures seem to infer that it has but nothing in the itemised description?

I believe they are standard. Its covered under this description:

What does multifunction mean though lol?

It means you get the multifunctional buttons - Volume up/down roller, previous/next buttons, source button, controls to navigate trip computer etc.

Fantastic :-) looking forward to the music controls  then, it's sometimes the smallest things make the biggest differences lol

Yeah it's quite a basic thing in 2017 but does make a difference. I had a MK2 FL Octavia VRS previously which didn't have the MFSW and it annoyed me that I constantly had to take my hands off the wheel to change tracks, adjust volume etc.

My Mk2 FL vrs was the same, however my wifes Fabia S had just volume control it was soooo annoying, so i bit the bullet, bought the MFSW and replacemnt control unit , a local friend had a full version of VAG com and fitted. It was well worth it.
