2011 SKODA Octavia 1.6 MPI SE - Bluetooth upgrade options

Featured Replies

I am wanting to add Bluetooth to my bolero stereo in my Octavia.

Not sure where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'd mainly like to make calls but being able to stream music would be nice too.

Had a look through the posts on here but so far nothing definitive.

Thanks

You need a bluetooth module and wiring and then the car needs coding via vcds

Thanks

I recently upgraded to an android unit but didn't have any luck... so going to try to upgrade my current bolero.

Sorry but I don't suppose you have any links to a guide on what to buy and how to fit it?

Does it matter that there is not connector under the seat (a friend said I would need that)?

If you look in my project thread ive listed the bt unit part no.

This will do all you need for calls and bt streaming.

If you do a google search it will show a guide somewhere.

Its pretty easy

Does it matter that I have a bolero and yours is the top of the range columbus?

Thanks

Bolero or Columbus shouldn't make any difference to the Bluetooth unit functionality.

If you want to add  in the infotainment Bluetooth, you can search for some Fiscon or Dension modules which integrate into Columbus, Bolero and are working perfectly.

Also enabled for maxidot displays and MFSW buttons.

But you may find expensive...
