Setting the seats in the longitudinal direction

Featured Replies

I've done what it says in the manual (at least I think I have) but those rear seats won't budge forward or back. Any thoughts?

Do it while you're sitting on the seat, just lift the lever under the front of the seat and slide forward, exactly as you'd do for the front seats.

If the seat doesn't want to budge, you have to bounce your - erm - b*m up and down on it at the same time (not with the neighbours watching  ) to jolt it to release the catch.  Usually OK after the first time, it seems - there's a thread here somewhere.

And don't forget you need to push the seat fully rearwards if you intend to remove it - also best done from the sitting position ;)

Also the middle seat doesn't slide forwards; only the outer ones do....
