145.1bhp and 257.3lb ft. This thing is still standard and has still got just 1700 miles on the clock! Still needs loosening up fully! I now can't wait to get to Jabbasport!

Hope your re-map gives you something special Jason as that is a pretty impressive benchmark!! ;)

very nice cant wait for those jabbasport figures

What are the 'book' figures Skoda publish for that engine?

Taken from the What car site. The figures are quoted at 130bhp and 229lb ft, so the car is up on standard by a fair bit! :)

Nice results Graeme.

It seems most VAG TDis produce quite a bit more than quoted outputs.

oh well its a hard life! :D

Certainly suprised alot of the VAG boys when they 1. Saw a Skoda drive in and 2. Heard it was a diesel, then 3. Saw the power and torque figures from a still almost new, tight engine!

Engine advantages in Witham Essex. Good little place actually and the rollers seem to be giving out pretty much spot on results!

Indeed all of the PD engines seem to be up[ on quoted power.

Nice one Fab16v

Cant wait to get mine done now :)

Was 27.50, but you can get them cheaper. There is one at Stealth next week at 20 quid. Not sure where that is though!

Maybe im being paranoid. but my car seems a bit tempremental with performance.. i was out tonight and the thing was an absolute monster.. it totally smoked a mg zt190 and was pulling strong uphill @120 in 6th.

it doesnt seem that powerful normally.

i could be totally wrong tho. ill do some more research i think :P

Could be that it's beginning to loosen up. Mine has started to pull much harder all the way through the revs now! 1800 miles. Can I get to 2000 before the 4th when it is a month old??!

im on 2400 now.. and its a month and a day old :)

it was suprising how quickly the milage piles on.. my clio covered 35k miles in 2 years. and that was just hooning to and from work (15 miles) and various other places

Mine pulls better too in colder weather when the air is more dense etc. Usually at night too!

The roads were insanely greasy tonight.. i couldnt boot it in 4th because of wheelspin! i couldnt brake hard either.. one of ma favorite roads too :(

they were this morning in derby i managed to get my combi slightly out of shape doing a 180 around a roundabout all to the amusement of a punto driver!

Only got 200miles on mine :( but hey she is only 1.8 days old ;) and I got all week next week off! :)

Glad they ease up a bit, mine pulls just fine but keeping her to 3500rpm max until she's done 800-1000 miles..... figure I should run her in nicely ;)
