Hi,

 

When I turn on the ignition, I've noticed that the air recirculation comes on without my switching it on. I turn it off but the next time I start up it is back on again. It's irritating rather than a big deal but any thoughts on how to stop it would be appreciated.

I don't know if it's relevant, but the system automatically switches to recirculation when reverse is selected.

If your blower position is anything but in the demist position (windscreen only) the car will put on re-circulation automatically.

And the aircon automatically switches on.

That's if you put the blower up to demist windscreen yes.
