VIDEO TO pc software

Featured Replies

Got a few old video tapes of sentimental value, but not willing to pay the arm & leg wanted to put them on disc, I tried an old converter I've got - Easycap which did work with an old video camera. Nothing showing on screen ,and no audio. Anyone suggest a cheapo solution.

I've still go a working VCR , and cables to break out from a scart lead to audio and composite video.

Take them to ICS Computers on Abbey Green and get a quote to have them done by AFX.

As you've found it isn't as easy as you think, and the hardware / software isn't cheap. That's why you get charged "an arm and a leg.

Asda have a quote on at moment at approx £25 a video. I'd imagine that ICS ( who charge a lot more than average for printer cartridges) ain't going to be much cheaper . At present prices, and with a working VCR- I can afford to be picky.

If you don't like ICS try Skeltons Chemist in Bedworth, or Lords Electrical in Hinkley or various others in Coventry. they all charge the same

Just pop in and ask for an AFX price leaflet, or download it from here and work it out.

We charge by the hour, not the number of cassettes, so without knowing the lengths it's impossible to quote properly
