Outer temp sensor location.

Featured Replies

Just of curiosity..

Were is the outer temp sensor located?

Hi

Behind the passenger side front bumper grille.

@rail The above is "correct but misleading"; it's behind the LH side grill, which as @simspj says is the passenger side on a UK car, but you're in Sweden.

@KenONeill very good spot. Doesn't give location of OP on my iPhone. Honest mistake.

Thank you for the answers guys.

So it's behind the grill and not the bumper?

Can it been seen by the naked eye?

If it's behind the grill you should think it will take up heat from the radiator?

Thank you.

The picture is so cropped I don't recognize the angel. I must go out to my own car and look for this  :)

@rail The LH side "grille" is so solid you can't really see through it.

But how is the picture taken then? The grill is gone?

@rail - I presume so, but my car's paint is also much darker than the other guy's so I don't actually recognise the angle either.

I guess it's behind this plastic on the bumper.

@rail - At that level, yes. I thought you were looking for a detailed description of where in that void between the grille panel and the inner wheel arch it was.
