crank seal leak..

Featured Replies

hi, just had my octavia 1.6tdi 105bhp  serviced from a local vw specialist as its out of warranty now, its done 83k and the garage has told me its got a oil leak from the crank seal, Is this normal to have to change it this early on a 2014 car?, as its out of warranty by 3 months i dont think id have any case against skoda uk..all servicing was done with skoda upto 60k, thanks in advance for any advice

I'd go back to skoda uk and see what they can do if you point out they have done all the servicing.  You loose nothing asking. Maybe if you pay for parts they will do the rest. Just an idea
