Hi. 

I have searched all over the internet for any adaptions in VCDS for the new Octavia 3 FL. 

Clearly it is not the same as the former Octavia. Does anyone have any information about what's possible?

Ah, I missed the FL bit, although I'm surprised to hear the electronics have changed that much.

They haven't really changed.

 

I doubt if Ross Tech have all the necessary label files yet to fully support the O3 FL, would have thought in VCDS 18.x

Ok thanks, it could be some problems with my cable, have tried the simple needle sweep, is says coding accepted, but it doesn't change a thing.. will try again tomorrow.

Not all instrument cluster variants support needle sweep.

And even those that do support needle sweep don't consistently do it - on my O3 1.4TSI the needle sweep happens around 505 of the time with no pattern that I can discern.

Mine is finally in the UK, waiting on dealer to give me a delivery date tomorrow.
