Am I the youngest yeti owner?

Featured Replies

So today I've just done a deal on a new yeti se-l drive in cappuccino with black leather interior, collection day is Thursday so I'm kinda excited but also sad to see my Fabia go as it's been a great car but now we're expecting our second child we wanted something a bit more practical.

im 35 by the way :D

Bit young to be wearing slippers Pee and PJ's, what is the world comming too

:D:D. The sensible side of me kind of took over and said we need a more practical car seen as we are expecting our 2nd child later this year.  On the flip side some luck person will end up with a pristine mk2 vrs,the sales manager even came over and told me it's the best looking p/x he'd ever seen B)

Wouldn't you have got more for your car selling it privately and having been able to haggle with the dealer with no px restrictions ?

I had one at that age, replaced it with an Alhambra as it was too small for the 3rd kid, that makes me feel older than the yeti did

TBH I got above market value for my car so I'm more than happy with the deal I got

You're younger than me anyway Mark

To be honest Pee I'd have a Yeti in a flash, I really like them but if Mrs G says no, then it's no. I do like my 230 Vrs and I don't think I'll ever trade it in against a Yeti, now trading in Mrs G for a later model well thats a no no as well

Having said that if I was lucky enough to win the lottery she will be getting a post card. :hi:

Watch this space......................Oopps have to go shes coming.......

I love the octavia especially the vrs estate in rallye green but the Mrs thinks there a bit too big for her to drive  One day I will have one....................maybe :D

32, was 31 when we got the Yeti :-)

Got it for the exact same reason, had our 2nd in April last year and realised we definitely needed something bigger than a Polo, didn't like the look of a lot of SUVs as they were all the same. So, we went for an L&K Yeti and haven't regretted it so far!

I've always liked the look of the facelift yeti and was pleasantly surprised at how well it drove but for once I played hard ball and refused to budge on my monthly payments even the Mrs managed to blag a free lunch out of them lol

You were only a few months younger than me (420) could be said a wise head on young shoulders ,or !

34 here. Second child arrived last year over 11 years years after the first so decided the impractical and unreliable 330ci was unsuitable. I looked around for a practical family car and little in the price range interested me. Boring as hell compared to the 330, which I still have but on SORN atm. I strangely love it though. I expected to hate it on a test and was prepared to order an Octavia estate but it impressed me. Don't think I've seen anyone else under 60 in one since getting it at the start of May!

36 and I primarily use the yeti to take my and my mountain bike places. :)

That's the same reason we went to look at them our 2nd child is due later this year, I didn't want to like it on the test drive but was pleasantly surprised at how responsive it was for a 1.2tsi. We still really love our mk2 vrs so Thursday will be mixed emotions when we collect the yeti.

38 here, and pleasantly surprised to find there are plenty of younger Yetiosi than me :)
