Best suspension setting for towing caravan

Featured Replies

I have a L&K Superb Siii - 148bhp with DSG, and I would like to know what is the best setting (for the car) in terms of the DCC, because this sets the shocks to a certain arrangement and want to know the best setting for towing to enable longevity of the shocks.  ie, is sports setting best for towing (stiff), or is comfort best (more compliant).

As I do not know how the system operates I want to know so as to use the best setting for the car, my comfort comes 2nd.

Any advice welcome.

I'm on 19" tyres and always use normal mode when towing. I run the fronts at 42psi and the rears at 47. I do set the steering to sport mode as otherwise the front end can feel too light which triggers the tea break warning...

I asked a similar question last month and the replies suggested, Sports mode, which is the mode i used when I collected the van, to be honest it works as far as i am concerned. Thread link
