Hello my first post here.

I was wondering, could I replace my light switch on my fabia with a golf mk5 one?

 

Since the golf mk5 has the coming/leaving home function (I really like that).

The connectors are different as far as I've seen.

 

- Is there any type of adapter that can make it work and is the size of the swith the same? Can it fit?

The coming/leaving home function I assume being the one where the lights stay on for 30s when you park up? or coming on when you unlock the car?

Bad news is that's not controlled by the switch itself but will be part of the body control module and would require the car to be wired up for it, which it won't be.

 

Someone did a mod where the sidelights would come on with the interior light. It should be on the forums somewhere
