USB running hot?

My usb stick for playing audio files is hot, all the time, anyone else noticed this - dodgy or not?

 

Might switch to SD card instead, cant be good being hot.

Dodgy by the sounds of it.

SD is a neater solution & frees up the USB slot for other things.

Thats what i was thinking, i have an SD card on the way ;)

 

Pretty sure this is normal - same in my car (2014 SE Tech). I have a 64 Gb SD card in my Amundsen and another 64 Gb USB stick in the MDI.
