I had a look at those websites you posted - will definitely go for one of them as the amount they are quoting is about half what the garage suggested!

Will get the PussyCatDolls single and play it loudly to frighten people away who might be thinking of parking near me!

I think there may be someone on this site that may be able to help you, I will PM him now for you (no names mentioned at this point!).

 Thanks Makefish - you're a gem

"woman drivers" :D i was taught 2 reverse til u hit somethin then u know u cant go back any further. can u not do the same goin forward. :D hope u get sorted tho.

the rear sensors are switch on by 'tapping' into the revering light circuit so when light comes on the sensor does.

How would this work from the front??

i know you coudl make a circuit using the ignition etc or you coudl have a swtich on or under the dash but just all seems a bit fiddly to me...

or do you just want the front and back to come on only when reversing?? i assume not...

There would be a switch to turn them on and off. There is in the Octy 2.

Excellent idea if it's a company car you're driving! Alas, I'm only an 'umble self-employed person. Anyway, I'm still in the honeymoon stage with my Octy - polishing out non-existent marks, shaking out the mats every twenty minutes, doing small dance of joy at having a shiny vehicle parked on the driveway. I know it won't last...:orb_love_
