Hello all

 

The change-up paddle, right hand side of the steering wheel will not allow an upchange of gears on the DSG g/box manually,

The car went into the dealer 2 weeks ago to have the right hand mode control button for the cars computer replaced, as the rotary part would not work

I now wonder if when they did this they did somthing to the paddle? The car is a 280 Combi.

Did not have a problem driving home as I let the auto do all the work, did not use the car until Last Wed 5th June that is when I noticed the problem, car is booked in on Monday 17th.

 

Anybody had the same problem?

Hi,

Problem solved, loose or not connected wire, probably dislodged when fitting new R/H rotary control.

Thank you for sorting it quickly Beadles.

 

PS. Beadles has new owners A1 motor group, I think from the USA!
