Had to visit a Skoda garage today to get a clue on how to access folders on CD's and the HDD, sorted.

 

I have read with interest that the firmware on the Columbus unit can be upgraded using either a DVD disc or a SD card (the threads are from 2011/2012 where they mention version 3810) .  Can someone please point me in the right direction to get these updates as I would like to make better use of the SD slot which is currently limited to <2GB?  Not too bothered about the satnav as I realise that is copyrighted, but upgrading the sound system would be brilliant.....

search for answers given by @Rustynuts . He seems to know everything there is to know about the Columbus..

I think he repairs them too if you need a replacement
