Adjust volume of side parking sensors?

Featured Replies

My 2015 O3 has the Park Assist with 12 parking sensors - 4 front, 4 rear and 4 side.

Is there a way to reduce the volume of the warning tone from the side sensors ONLY leaving the front and rear sensors at normal volume?

My wife finds the volume from the side sensors too loud and distracting when parking in a normal car park - and the alternating two tone warning when you are close is VERY distracting.

I can't see anything in the adaptation channels of the 10 Park Assist module, but is there a coding change possible?

I'm sure you can do this on the touch sceen.

Press the Car button, then settings, then parking & manoeuvring.

Have a play about!

You can certainly do it for the front and rear, not sure about the side?

You cannot do it for the side - as far as I can see there are no adaptation channels in module 10 about the side sensors and nothing appears in the infotainment screen (and there are no adaptation channels in module 5F to add them to the infotainment menu).

Definitely NOTHING in the infotainment screen about the volume or tone of the side sensors... checked when I got home yesterday.

Any other thoughts/suggestions welcomed.
