Hi all...finally on here!

Hi everyone,

I'm Ben and I've recently become the proud owner of a mk1 fabia 1.4tdi as my commuter car, my megane r26 was costing me a fortune. I've got to say I'm loving the fuel economy and I can still keep up with most traffic! I also want to say a quick thanks to Colin (admin) as I've had issues joining the site and he's squared me away.

Good to see you Ben. Megane R26 would of been some fun on the commute, if you took the long way home I bet though?

I used to commute over the peak district and for the most part it was A and Motorways. But the odd morning and evening I'd take the 20mile longer, but about same time blat over the b roads and lanes :) Some used on the tour d france grand depart. although that was before they were resurfaced from pot holed gravel...

Hi Colin, the megane is great fun on the B roads around Oxfordshire where I was working before but now I've got a 90 mile commute with 70% motorway and the rest dual carriageway it's not so much fun  inevitably stuck in traffic most if the time. Suits the little fabia though stop start traffic.
