Featured Replies

my mum died last month, and in 'ruddy' france arrrghhhhh....... now I have to list EVERYTHING she owns and 'price it'!!!

all her banks are frozen its all so vile

anyway, what is the value please (average) on trade-in on a 1999 Felicia LXi with no extra options and 29,000 on the clock?

However the value will translate into EFF ALL in france as its RHD, but all the same it has to listed so I can be shafted for 20-40% on the lot!

you know something 590 quid you'd pay 5000€ 3500£ to buy a rotten one with over 180,000kms here! ;à)

I've changed it for a V-reg for you , not that it makes much difference

Price is about right though.

Sorry to hear about your mum btw

Parker's valuations are similar....

Sorry to hear about your mum, must be terrible.

The price for the Felicia sounds about right I'm afraid. They really aren't worth much these days. :thumbdwn:

thanks people for your thoughts, in fact the LESSER the car worth the better!!!

dying in france means all Wills are overidden, all assets frozen and all it taxable from 50K€ upwards! A certain bank manager almost lost his teeth for imposing a block on all transactions the week BEFORE she died!!!??? I'm getting no end of shat through the post now, not least 'Banque de France' saying she can no longer hold an account with any bank and all her accounts are closed. That was over a 48€ cheque that did not clear with a 22,000€ credit on the account!

Sad not! angry YES

dont die in france people!!!!

her car will pass to me after I paid tax on what i actually paid for to buy her in the first place

ps

and sorry wrong thread to do this but;

life insurance does not pay out on death in france!!!!

you need death insurance for that!

all the same now the land, house everything has to be listed, to be valued and taxed, where i can dis-inherit or not! if i decide to opt out its remains frozen for 30years
