Enough power?

Started this topic on another forum as well!!!!!

Loaded the "AQ" for 1 week beach hols and will post later as to whether my 150 bhp diesel is powerful enough for the job. By way. I like to drive quite hard and please don't let this thread deteriorate into a petrol vs diesel vs nuclear power slanging match. My thoughts on this are well known but it's horses for courses. So if you feel like posting derogatory things like"are you on drugs" or maybe " your living in cloud cuckoo land" don't PLEASE.
Laters folks!!!!!!

???

What does driving quite hard mean?

Are you driving onto the beach or something, or is it Horse Racing Courses you are driving on?

They are pretty good on Golf Courses i hear, or maybe it was for driving to the Golf Course, not sure really.

I had a 2.0tsi for a few hours yesterday. Current family run about is a 1.4tsi Yeti l&k.

Thoughts? It's got enough power for what it is. It would benefit from more torque which is a plus point for a diesel alternative, but for my use diesel isn't really an option.

You can probably get it chipped for more torque while keeping MPG as OEM or even a few lower I believe.

Been there with VAG group cars before and it caused no end of battles over the warranty. It's too easy for them to detect and then come out with 'computer says no'.

I assumed those that say 'Chipped' mean a Tuning Box fitted, which may or may not Void a Manufacturers Warranty & not the Remapping of the ECU which the T&C's of the Manufacturers Warranty clearly says will Void the Warranty if not Factory Approved.
