Rather a stiff upper lip

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

As a dedicated member of the Dutch skodaforum.nl, I decided to move to Briskoda because I cannot find myself into, lets say, the Dutch attitude of SkodaForum.nl. I've done a lot of effort there to help members with complete infograph tutorials on how to diagnose, maintain and repair their Fabia's. But for some reason, most other members won't go an extra mile (or even an inch) to help each other, which makes a lot of my work in vain.

I noticed that the level of dedication and perfectionism of some members of Briskoda meets my own. Although this doesn't mean that I'm active on a every day base, but when my company (and car) let me have some spare time.

I'm partly an (automotive) engineer, but I decided to switch to IT after I completed my study 17 years ago and I come from a family with some root's in the car industry. The main reason because I want to maintain my own cars, is because the car repair-shops in this region are very poor or even horrible in almost every aspect.

I'm sure most people here agree with the last line.

Welcome to Briskoda, let's hope that you continue to find a better attitude here than on Skodaforum.

Thank you, I'm almost sure about that.

Hi there and welcome!  You'll find this one of the most engaging and informative sites around so don't think you'll be disappointed with input from members.

Thank you guys. I already spend most of the day helping others. Let's see if I can find that annoying generator L1/DFM issue on my own MPI tomorrow.

Hello Palatinux you and your knowledge are very welcome on this Skoda forum good to have you with us.:)

Palatinux,

I'm new here too, glad to hear of your wealth of experience, and in a place where it will be appreciated.

Trystan

welcome
