Headlight brackets

Featured Replies

Hello,

I had a minor prang with a suicidal monk-jack deer, managed to hammer on the brakes but made contact, no visible damage but upon inspection, the beast has managed to snap the mounting brackets for the front headlight. I don't believe there are any factory repair kits for this and the replacement light is £600+. The monk-jack was a little dazed but fine.

Looking at the bracket (and assuming the lower ones are similar) I'm confident that with a few metal plates and a bit of glue this could be fixed and made stronger.

I called around and managed to find that hella do a cheaper aftermarket part but haven't started manufacturing it yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions or do I just need to pay up for a new headlight?
