Dead Columbus

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I made a post on here a while ago about my Columbus that died an intermittent death. Every so often the sound would work but after a while it was completely dead.

So, I took my car to a specialist yesterday who informed me that in order to revive it I would have to pay about £2,500 for the dead bit that sits in the glove box. Obviously I told this guy no as I'd rather buy a new car than spend that amount of money on a stereo.

My question is, does that seem like a legitimate request to pay that much to replace the bit in the glove box?

If it is, are there any alternatives that you guys have come across that are more reasonable?

I'll drop you a message mate. I can't help personally but I know a man who might.;)
