Hello - new Superb owner

Featured Replies

Hello all, and good evening.

I'm the new owner of a 60 plate Skoda Superb Elegance 2.0 TDI CR 170 DSG estate, in Black, with 39k on the clock.  Bought it over a month ago from a dealership but only had it for 4 days so far, as it broke down and went into limp mode with what has been discovered to be a busted EGR.  I've always been a bit sketchy of EGRs and DPFs so it was inevitable. Its been replaced free of charge and just got it back so hopefully no more issues!  I love the car (from what i remember from driving it), seems to have all the mod cons.

I'm big into cars, do a lot of spannering and have my own track car, so hopefully speak to you all and get to know you over time.

Thanks for having me.

Hi there, glad to hear you got it sorted and that it didn't cost you.  The EGR is one of the few issues with the MKII Superb, in fact, it was the only problem I ever had with the two 170 TDIs I had.  Hopefully it will be trouble-free motoring from now on.
